According to Downdetector.com website the problem seems to have started on April 3rd at around 2PM ET where the main affected areas seems to be New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Reports have been seen from other states too in USA .
While some users were completely logged out of their account, some users say their messages were not delivered. During the outage, users were unable to send or receive messages, make voice or video calls, or access any of the app’s features. This led to a wave of frustration as users struggled to connect with their contacts and carry out their daily conversations
Meta’s business APIs status page updated an outage impacting service starting at 2:10PM ET.
“We’re aware people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working on this now,” Meta spokesperson Andy Stone said in a post on X social media.
